Overview

The AltLayer Testnet will incrementally feature the various capabilities of AltLayer.

Phase 1: Multi sequencer L2 network

In this phase, we will open our multi sequencer L2 testnet to the public. It includes:

• Multi sequencer L2

• Regular state commitment to L1 (Ethereum Sepolia Testnet) by verifiers

• Rollup bridge supporting native ETH, ERC-20 and ERC-721:

  • Deposit

  • Withdrawal with challenge period

• Block explorer

• Testnet tokens faucet

Phase 2: Beacon Layer and Staking

In this phase, we released the following

• Beacon Layer: An Enshrined Rollup Interlayer for Ethereum

• ALT token faucet on Beacon layer

• Staking on Beacon layer

• Rollup staking
