On November 28, 2022, Evolv in partnership with 3UP & Ticket Hotline minted the first ever live football reward and attendance NFT token on a flash layer. The purpose of the NFTs was to engage fans and enhance their experience of the JDT vs Dortmund (BVB) international club-friendly match.
The user journey was as follows:
A QR code was displayed in the stadium. Upon scanning the code, fans were redirected to a custom website powered by Evolv.
Here, they could log in using their social credentials (like Google account) & claim the POAP NFT.
After claiming the NFT, the fans were presented with an engagement task - to participate in a poll.
Fans who voted stood the chance of winning VIP tickets to the finals -- a club-friendly match in Malaysia.
The rate of interaction was a whopping 100 scans per second, with 9000 scans in total. The NFTs were later settled on the BNB chain.
